2005 – Best in Show

The Radiant Panel Association has a contest once a year called the System Showcase. The best radiant heating projects are entered from the U.S.A. and Canada. They are judged for design and installation. There are nine categories and awards are given out from first to third place. Judges choice (Best of Show) is awarded to the project with the highest points total in the contest. Mechanical and electrical drawings are submitted along with some photo’s for review by several judges.

In 2005 the Grove Street Plaza project took first place in the commercial category and also won the judges choice award. Not only did the project receive the highest points total of the show, it also received the highest points total in the history of the competition. This competition has been happening for ten years now. In 2004 the White Fox Rd project took first place in the retrofit category.

This is the Grove St Plaza project. Roughly 15,000 square feet of radiant tubing and snow melt is on this project. Piping is being installed below the walk way for snow melting.
