Building Automation

To the right is one of the first true Building Automation Systems we installed. This project was done about a decade ago and is still operational today. It was a retrofit project for a radiant heating system that someone else did. We updated the controls and rewired the system. The thermostats were networked to the zone and main control. The main boiler control handles different temperatures. This system had a remote transponder custom fit to it. The transponder could answer the phone and the person calling in could put the system in and out of setback. In those days a cable feed was nonexistent in most areas. People would have to dial in to connect to a network or the internet. The system did outdoor reset with indoor feedback. It had a post purge feature too and more. This system increased the comfort and saved the client money in fuel too!!
